Maps... What's the point we have a phone!

Maps... What's the point, we have a phone! Why maps were created. Maps were created for many reasons, some refined and some economic. For the most part, it allowed people to understand their environment and eventually hypothesise of a distant land. Cartography shapes how we think about the globe and how we see us in it. In the olden days when they didn't have cell phones, people had to rely on maps to guide them around so they can go to distant lands and do business there or see how modern other countries were and what they could learn from them. That is why maps were needed and besides [without maps we couldn't have directions on our phones😉].

'That's Life"...Doesn't Help

The Girl In The Mirror

The Girl In The Mirror  I glanced in the mirror but someone different was starring back at me. The girl in the mirror had pitch black hair, just like me.  The girl in the mirror had bright purple glasses, just like me. The girl in the mirror didn't have a smile which radiated up the whole room, but I did. The girl in the mirror was curled up in a ball trying to comfort herself while I was standing tall. I looked in the mirror closer, the girl in the mirror was discouraged, empty and she was petrified. How would I know that? Well, deep, deep, deep down inside I was feeling that too. I splashed my face with ice cold tap water. When I looked back at the mirror the girl vanished At that moment I realized that the girl in the mirror wasn't a stranger, I am.
